Zeiss Victory FL 8x32Hands-on Reviewby Diane Porter It doesn't get any better than this! Over ten years ago, in 2005, Zeiss introduced the mid-sized 32mm Victory FL. And from that moment on, people who wore glasses at last had the same opportunity for superb packable optics as those who wore contacts or who did not have to wear glasses at all. And after these years, we still love this Zeiss binocular. We love its bright, true-color image. We love how close it can focus — down to 6-1/2 feet. We love its very nice twist-lock eyecups, its hand-friendly rubber armoring, and its big knurled focus knob. We enjoy its shape, compact and well put together, its short 5.1-inch length, and how comfortable it is in the hand. And that welcome eye relief. A glasses wearer—even a glasses wearer whose glasses do not fit closely—gets to see the full picture. And yet, with 42o-foot field of view at 1000 yards, it provides a stunning, immersive viewing experience. Zeiss came through with an a 32mm binocular with eye relief that glasses wearers used to to only dream of. And they did it on a binocular of impeccable optical quality. Bravo!
