Some
of us think that all travel anywhere is just a good excuse
for watching birds. But even birders have to sleep, so here
are some places you can lay your head. We
haven't visited these places yet, but they look good to us.
If
you visit one of these inns or lodges, please report back to
us on how you like it. Or email
us to recommend great places you've stayed and personally
recommend.

GRAND
LAKE, COLORADO
The Osprey
Inn B&B is ten minutes from Rocky Mountain National
Park and two hours from Denver. The lodge sits high in the
trees and overlooks lake, meadow, birds, and wildlife. All
rooms have windows on two sides. |
YUCATAN
PENINSULA, MEXICO
The Eco
Paraiso Hotel on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico
was carefully constructed to meet ecological standards.
It's on a pristine natural beach, among malayan dwarf coconut
palm trees. You can see thousands of pink flamingos here.
