What the? This bird chowing down on the sumac has a bill like an eastern towhee. It's got a white wing patch like an eastern towhee. It's pretty much shaped like an eastern towhee.

And indeed it is an eastern towhee. A juvenile. If it's a male, then before next spring arrives it will look like this guy. But right now, well, it could fool a fella.
