So much fun watching warblers pass through. So poignant knowing that Iowa is only a way station, and if you don't see them in the next few days, in all their breeding-finery glory, you won't get another chance until next May.
This blackpoll warbler was a special treat, as I don't see them in my back yard even every May. Get a load of that white cheek and those bright orange-yellow toes!
