Spring migration is underway for sure when I hear the song of the eastern towhee in the tops of trees that are just starting to show green tips.

As one of the first singers, he stands out. That is to say, his song stands out Drink your tee-ee-ea! Sometimes it's hard to spot the bird himself, even when you hear him singing from the treetops.
