This Morning Outside

I think the tufted titmouse expresses its feelings with the tilt of its crest. I think it's sleeked down when the titmouse is nervous, crazily raised and flared when the bird is excited. This titmouse is comfortable, on familiar ground, near a good source of peanuts, and with nobody scaring it, so the crest is raised but relaxed. How I love the titmouse!
