This Morning Outside

On the unmown field, a storm breeze blowing from the south, I heard a Henslow's sparrow off to my left. When I finally spotted him, throwing his head back and opening his beak, he wasn't where the sound said he should be.

Ah, of course, the wind blew the song off course! Never noticed being fooled that way before. Probably it happens all the time.
