This Morning Outsideby Diane PorterMarch 4, 2013 American tree sparrows nest so far in the north that even trees can't grow there. When summer is over, the sparrows migrate south, spending the winter in the US. This one paused to look me over, on the road to Birdwatching Dot Com, as if to ask why someone was noticing it. Any day now, they'll be gone, taking one of my winter pleasures away with them.
