This Morning Outsideby Diane PorterMarch 13, 2012 How lovely to have the eastern phoebe back in town! He must have arrived on Sunday. He was not singing with the dawn chorus that morning, but about 10 A.M. I heard him. He sings his name, fee-bee, over and over in a burry voice. He's the first flycatcher to come back every year, and before there are many insects to be caught. Photo copyright 2012 Michael and Diane Porter —Diane Porter
