This Morning Outsideby Diane PorterFebruary 21, 2012 Down in the thicket at the foot of the oak, two blue jays are screeching their heads of. Their crests stick straight up, revealing black on the back of the head that I never noticed before. The cause? Near the top of the thicket, a sharp-shinned hawk, bird-eating terror of the woods.
