This Morning Outside

The bluebird youngsters have started visiting my backyard with their parents. They fly well now, but they still get lots of free meals from their Mom and Dad, who cannot resist the sight of a baby bluebird's begging open beak.

Notice how the tail feathers are in pristine condition. The parents' tails are worn now. These youngsters haven't had time yet to fray their feathers. Ah, youth!
