Great Horned Owlby Dylan Beesmer
Dylan Beesmer, of Reno, Nevada, photographed this great horned owl. He has graciously allowed us to show it on the Birdwatching Dot Com website. What a great photo! You can even see the bird's talons. It's quite an accomplishment to get close enough to a great horned owl to take a photo showing this kind of detail. It speaks of patience and a good understanding of photography. By the way, Mr. Beesmer is twelve years old!
