Unheated Birdbath with Pedestal
Beautiful as a Greek temple
 Offer a refreshing drink and bath to your birds in summer, and they'll reward you with their presence.
This elegant Kozy Spa Birdbath is an unheated bath that is just the correct, shallow depth to make the birds feel safe. And the inside is textured, not slippery or slick. (Birds like a sure footing just as much as we do in the shower!)
It looks like carved natural stone. With its elegant fluted column, it really does look like something out of an ancient Greek temple.
The birds love this birdbath. A gorgeous red-winged blackbird comes every afternoon and takes a long, splashing bath.
At our house, it also attracts bluebirds, goldfinches, cardinals, mourning doves, indigo buntings, rose-breasted grosbeaks, house wrens, tufted titmice, eastern phoebes, and grey catbirds.
 It comes in two pieces. The bowl screws onto the pedestal.
The pedestal is 23" tall, engineered of the same durable polymer construction as the bowl. The pedestal is hollow, which makes it really lightweight and easy to move around. After you get it set up, you can fill the pedestal part way with sand or pebbles, for stability. We have terrific, howling winds where we live, out in the country in Iowa. I mean, sheds blow over if they aren't secured to the ground. But our Kozy Spa bath has remained upright through all of them.
 The Kozy Spa is much easier to clean than most baths, because there's nothing in the way. Just squirt or swipe out bowl and refill. I like to clean a bath every day or two, for the health of the birds, and this bath makes it easy. I hang a vegetable brush outside on a nail, and I give the bowl a swish with it when I change the water, to keep it free from dirt and algae. I also like the fact that this bath is on a pedestal, so I hardly even have to bend over to clean it. (Also makes it safer from house cats.)
But best of all, the Kozy Spa Unheated Bath looks graceful and elegant. I can't say I've ever seen a birdbath that I liked the looks of better.
We love it, and the wild birds love it.
