For just a few more weeks we'll be able to see turkey vultures in southeastern Iowa. Some winter in the US, in the south, or along the eastern and western coastal states as far north as Northern California and Connecticut. Others spend the winter in South America, as far away as the Falkland Islands and Tierra del Fuego.
